We are pleased to provide the most recent Assessment of Value Report for Franklin Templeton Funds (FTF). This is the sixth annual report and covers the period 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requires fund managers like Franklin Templeton Fund Management Limited to carry out an annual assessment of the overall value delivered to shareholders by the funds managed by it and whether the fees paid by each share class of those funds are justified in that context. We appreciate how important this assessment and the resulting report is for the funds’ shareholders.
The report demonstrates that the Authorised Corporate Director of the FTF fund range has assessed the sub-funds of FTF against the seven criteria set out by the FCA to measure and report on value achieved:
- Performance
- Authorised Fund Manager (AFM) Costs
- Comparable Market Rates
- Comparable Services
- Economies of Scale
- Quality of Service
- Classes of Shares
Within this report, we describe how we have assessed these criteria. We then set out the conclusions we have reached for the individual funds.
