Franklin Templeton Promotes Ana Álvarez to Head of Sales Role for Iberia Region

Madrid, 15 January 2025 – Franklin Templeton is delighted to announce the promotion of Madrid based Ana Álvarez to Head of Sales for Iberia region. She continues to report directly to Javier Villegas, Head of Iberia and Latin America.

In her new role, Ana Alvarez will be responsible for the region’s business strategy with a focus on developing strong partnerships with key distributors and innovative solutions for our clients.

Alvarez will lead the Iberia distribution team which consist of Nicolás Peña, Sales Director; Teresa Molins, Senior Sales Manager and Guillermo Trigueros, Sales Executive who report directly into her.

Alvarez joined Franklin Templeton in early 2008 to lead the Marketing & Communication Team for the Iberia region. After four years, she moved to the Iberia Sales team to lead the retail distribution channel, as Sales Director in 2012. Previously, she had worked as Senior Associate for Morgan Stanley for six years in the Business Development Department, holding a variety of strategic projects for the Wealth Management and the Local Asset Management divisions.
