Carin Leong Pai is responsible for leading Fiduciary Trust's equity strategy and process, as head of the Equity Strategy Committee. Ms. Pai oversees the firm's team of portfolio managers with an expertise in equities and manages client portfolios. As a member of the Asset Allocation Committee, she works closely with investment leadership of the firm to develop strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies. Additionally, she is currently a member of Fiduciary Trust's Management Committee, Operating Committee, and Risk Management Committee.
Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust in 1996, she served at Prudential Securities in the brokerage division.
Ms. Pai is a recipient of the New York Business Journal's 2016 Women of Influence award, honoring women business leaders in the New York City area for their achievements in the marketplace and their commitment to the community and mentoring. She is also a recipient of Money Management Executive's 2016 Top Women in Asset Management award. She also serves on the board of trustees of the Citizens Budget Commission, a non-partisan, non-profit organization whose mission is to achieve constructive change for New York government services and finances.
She earned a B.S. in business administration from the University at Albany, State University of New York, and completed an Executive Program at Harvard Business School for investment management. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a member of the CFA Society New York.
