Chung Seo

Chung Hyuk Seo joined Darby in 2014 as a member of the Korea team, based in Seoul.

Prior to joining Darby, Mr. Seo worked at Woori Investment & Securities in Seoul as an associate for their Private Equity Group, IB Division and Equity Research team. There, he conducted extensive industry and company analyses on diverse sectors including machinery, retail and IT and managed a SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) established to acquire undervalued companies. Mr. Seo interned at SkyLake Incuvest US and Lehman Brothers Seoul in 2013 and 2008, respectively.

Mr. Seo received his MBA from the University of California Berkeley, Haas School of Business and his BS in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington. He is currently a Level III CFA candidate.
