Deger Atay

Deger Atay is a private equity vice president with over 8 years of transaction experience in private equity and investment banking focusing on mergers & acquisitions.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2018, Mr. Atay was with Pragma Corporate Finance, specializing in M&A transactions in Turkey. Prior to Pragma, he worked as a senior associate at Actera Group, a leading PE fund located in Turkey, and as an associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch's investment banking division in London focusing on M&As.

Mr. Atay holds an M.B.A., with distinction, from the NYU Stern School of Business. He holds a B.S., cum laude, in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He speaks English and Turkish.
