Gregory Surply

Mr. Surply is Associate General Counsel and has been with the company for 12 years. Mr. Surply is leading the legal department of Franklin Templeton International Services S.a r.l. Luxembourg, covering a number of European jurisdictions. Mr. Surply provides assistance on a variety of Luxembourg legal and cross border regulatory matters in relation with Franklin Templeton Investment Funds and other Luxembourg based mutual funds (UCITS and Alternative Investment Funds) as well as any type of corporate and contractual matters linked to FT domiciled corporate entities.

Mr. Surply has been an active member of the Luxembourg Fund Association (ALFI) and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) since 2007.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Mr. Surply, as a member of the Luxembourg Bar, worked at Linklaters law firm Luxembourg. Mr. Surply began his career in 1999 (until 2001) working as a tax and corporate adviser in Shanghai assisting direct foreign investments in China.

Mr. Surply is graduated from Nancy Law University (France) and holds a Business Master in finance and management from Nantes University (France).
