Katie Ylijoki, CFA

Katie Ylijoki is vice president, portfolio manager, and research analyst for Templeton Global Investments. She is a co-portfolio manager of the Templeton Global Smaller Companies Fund, Templeton International Smaller Companies Fund, Foreign Smaller Companies Series, and FTIF Templeton Global Smaller Companies Fund and has research responsibilities for global small and mid-cap equities.

Ms. Ylijoki began her investment career with Franklin Templeton in 2006. Prior to her current positions of both research analyst and portfolio manager, she was an associate in the Futures Program and later joined the Templeton Global Investments as a junior research analyst. Previous research coverage includes IT services and hardware, leisure, hotels and restaurants as well as small cap consumer goods and small cap technology.

She holds a B.S. in business administration with a major in finance and an M.A. in international business from the University of Florida. Ms. Ylijoki is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a member of CFA Institute.
