Kim Strand is a senior vice president, head of sustainable investments and portfolio manager for Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions. She runs the Solutions Sustainable Investment program and is a co-lead manager for the Franklin Global Allocation Fund. Ms. Strand is also a member of the FTIS Investment Strategy & Research Committee which informs asset allocation strategy across the solutions organization. In addition, she leads Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Solutions team.

Ms. Strand joined Franklin Templeton in 2005. Prior to her current role, Ms. Strand was SVP/Head of Fundamental Research and ESG integration and served on the portfolio management team for the Franklin Income fund and related portfolios. Prior to 2018, she was a VP portfolio manager and research analyst for the Franklin Equity Group, serving on the industrials team. She was a principal on the Franklin Blackhorse venture fund from 2017-2019, co-manager of the Franklin Focused Core Equity Fund from 2015-2017 and co-manager of the Franklin Equity Income Fund from 2013-2015.

Ms. Strand holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from The Wharton School. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing, and is also a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco.
