Mohamed Saifulla Shakeel, CFA, is a research analyst for Franklin Equity with research responsibilities for information technology and industrials industries.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2014, Mr. Shakeel was an equity analyst intern at a value oriented buy side firm focused on Indian markets. Before that, he worked as an engineer for a year with General Motors and for over four years with NXP Semiconductors during which time he held product development roles.

Mr. Shakeel earned a Bachelor in Engineering (B.E.) from Visvesvaraya Technological University in Bangalore, India and an M.B.A. from Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. Mr. Shakeel is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
