Trevor Franklin, CFA, is a vice president and portfolio manager for Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions (FTIS) specializing in management of discretionary institutional multi-asset portfolios. Mr. Franklin joined Franklin Templeton in 2011 and is responsible for portfolio management, research and trading related to managing both institutional and retail-oriented portfolios. He is also responsible for servicing the relationships of clients and investment consultants across Canada. Mr. Franklin is a member of the Franklin Templeton Institutional Asset Mix Committee.
Previous to joining FTIS, Mr. Franklin worked in a relationship management capacity with institutional third-party asset management partners.
Mr. Franklin holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, a member of the Toronto CFA Society and has volunteered on the Society’s Institutional Asset Management and Equity Committees.
