Vaneet Chadha is a senior vice president and head of alternative risk premia and AI research for Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions (FTIS). Mr. Chadha also serves as a co-portfolio manager on style premia strategies notably Franklin Liberty Systematic Style Premia ETF (FLSP) and Franklin K2 Athena Uncorrelated Strategies UCITS Fund. He is also responsible for leveraging AI efficiencies and machine learning to drive alpha generation in FTIS portfolios and enhance efficiencies across the broader FTIS research and portfolio management capabilities. Finally, he supports the Fixed Indexed Annuity (FIA) index business. He helped launch the first Franklin Index (FTUSLX) in 2017. Since then, he has helped develop and launch multiple indices for several insurance firms in the US.

Previously, Mr. Chadha was a senior member of the firm's GTAA (Global Tactical Asset Allocation) portfolio management and investment research team focusing on Global Equity Value and Global FX Carry strategies.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2012, Mr. Chadha worked at Citadel LLC, where he worked as a quantitative developer supporting long/short relative value credit strategies. While at Citadel, he completed a financial technology associate rotation program working for various businesses such as options market making and global equities. He began his career in 2005 as a technologist in a semi-conductor firm.

Mr. Chadha holds a bachelor of computer engineering degree from University of Delhi and a master of science degree in quantitative and computational finance from Georgia Institute of Technology. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
